Ilham Nissan had a difficult life and she found a way out through art and in particularly recycling pieces of colored glass to create unique artworks. The patience that the collection of glasses and their composition requires has proved to be therapeutic for Ilham. Her art project has become a source of income for her and also a support for the elderly mother she takes care of. Ilham also produces an affordable line of beaded jewelry.
